Rachel Bertsche, a newcomer to Chicago, felt isolated and friendless. As a relative newcomer to my current place I can certainly relate, although admittedly Rachel seems to have a lot more time than I have no kids which may have made her more motivated to actively seek friendships. Rachel did something quite original Seeking a new best friend brave in my opinion.
